The Blue RosesThis was a second year group project where we where asked to design promotional material and packaging for the bands new album. As the Blue Roses music has a folk influence this made me reminisce of traveling around folk festivals with my family as a kid. I remember playing with the worry dolls that my mum often bought me from the flea markets at these festivals . The band where looking for something quite quirky and involving forests and trees so the idea sprung to me of making the band members into worry dolls in their own miniature world of trees and instruments. I sold the idea to the group by making the worry dolls out of toothpicks, cotton and glitter and some trees out of old magazines. We then worked together to make a little world for the band to perform in. |
